I'm no expert at router bits but my experience with these router bits was good. I wouldn't say excellent, but definitely were worth the purchase. The rail and stile bits worked extremely well, with clean cuts and minimal tear-out. The raised panel bit doesn't work quite as well but I believe that may be because of some inaccuracy on my part. The raised panel front and the etched back are cut at the same time, which is a great deal of wood stock to remove at one time. When doing straight edges, it is possible to use your fence to remove only small portions of stock at a time (and thereby prevent tear-out or binding).

However, it becomes rather interesting when doing a cathedral arc. I was able to figure out how to remove most of the stock slowly using the fence, but. I purchased about $23,000 worth of Dura-Supreme cabinets. I had my designer/contractor install the cabinets, but they wanted charge extra to install the hardware (2 guys for 6 hours). That would have cost over a $1,000 in labor.yes, maybe my contractor is high, but you don't want a couple of hacks working on cabinets that cost that much.I bought this tool and installed the hardware myself. Once you get it set up for your cabinet door knobs, you just drill and go the the next cabinet door and drill, repeat, repeat, etc. Same with the drawer fronts, although you do have to adjust the tool of you have different drawer front heights.
